Process

Straightforward, all technical questions involved two interviews on two days, each lasting 45 minutes. The people were very smart and very kind.

The email from the recruiter actually describes all the topics from which you might be asked questions. It is a huge list. It is known that Google asks questions on:

  • Algorithms
  • Data Structures
  • Networking

I was asked questions in all the above three topics. Both interviews were great experiences. They revolved mainly around algorithms and data structures, with basic questions from networking. Coding is an integral part of an interview at Google. You should be really, really, really good at coding and also have a strong grasp of concepts, needless to say, of OS, etc.
