I had initial contact from a recruiter via email.
We had a short 20-minute phone conversation where the recruiter asked about my professional background and requested I rate myself in a few technical areas. They also asked some trivia questions.
We then scheduled a phone interview a few weeks later.
The interview took about 45 minutes, with the final 10 minutes dedicated to cleaning up code and asking questions to the interviewer. The interview was a success, and I scheduled a second phone interview for a couple of weeks later.
The code was written in Python on a Google Docs document.
First, the weeder question involved implementing binary search.
Next, there was a question about text processing. After the initial solution was provided, additional constraints were added to encourage a better solution.
