Pros: Good environment and people to learn from.

Cons: A little isolated feeling inside the office.

Pros: + Amazing perks + Extreme transparency + Friendly coworkers + Interesting problems + Great work experience I definitely enjoyed this internship and would recommend it to anyone before heading into industry as a full-time employee.

Cons: Actually, it's very difficult to think of cons. I suppose it would have been nice to be in one of the "more fun" buildings than GWC.

Pros: The open culture, smart people, great benefits, and all the perks make Google a great place to work. Generous vacation time, free food and coffee, gyms, and the ability to transfer internally to other teams, including at any office in the world, make for a very comfortable and flexible work environment.

Cons: Google only hires great people and only has so many really interesting projects to work on that everyone wants to work on. People still have to do the tedious work too, so you end up with a lot of people overqualified for what they're doing. It's a very big company at this point and sometimes can feel like you're just one tiny person, oiling a cog of the machine. The promotion process is a lot of work and doesn't always recognize great work properly.
