Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

The interview was fine, pretty standard for a tech company interview.

There were:

  • Whiteboard coding questions
  • Design questions
  • Questions about theoretical computer science
  • A chance to discuss my Ph.D. thesis

None of the questions were especially difficult for me.

My interviewers seemed slightly bored themselves; I never got much of a sense that they were excited to be working there.

Questions

Nothing stands out.
