Process

I had two phone interviews before being rejected. Then, I was offered the opportunity to continue interviewing for the Engineering Residency program.

I had two more Hangouts interviews for the position and was rejected again. I didn't feel ready, so I didn't ask the recruiter to speed up the process. It took about two months.

Questions

Topics:

  • Recursion
  • Dynamic programming
  • Bit manipulation
  • Basic data structures and algorithms like arrays/lists, searching, sorting, etc.

One of the Engineering Residency interviews is more about behavioral questions, general communication skills, and understanding of data structures (e.g., explain some data structures).
