Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

The whole interview process takes about 3 months.

I applied at the beginning of September and received a response 3 days later. Then, two back-to-back interviews were scheduled for two weeks later.

The technical phone interview focused on algorithms, data structures, and design. As long as you are in good shape, you should be able to make it to the next round. The interviewers were very friendly and willing to help.

I then entered the candidate pool in late September. Since all internships start in late October, I had to wait at least one month for a host match.

I received a match from Kirkland in early November. However, I wasn't matched until the third offer, this one from one of the NYC teams. In total, I received 4 matches. Two teams did not think I was a good match for their team. I turned down the last match because I had already been matched with the third team.
