Process

Overall, the process is a bit chaotic. I got contacted by a recruiter, and we scheduled the screen interview. It went fine, and the next stage was supposed to be scheduled after a team was found.

I waited 2 months for a team match. By that time, I had already accepted another offer, but I took the second stage (by that time my lead recruiter had changed). While it went alright, the team manager chose someone else.

I was told my results were valid for 12 months and that they'd look for a team. There was silence for over 6 months (yet another recruiter change in between). I reached out, and after a couple of weeks, a team was found. I had a match call. It was fine. I waited a couple of weeks for a response. Finally, I was told that there was a change of plans and I could be hired as a frontend dev (I applied for backend).

I declined, and the recruiter searched for another team. After 2 weeks, I had a match call. This time, everything went fine. They prepared an offer (lowballed), and after negotiating, I accepted.

Overall, from screening to hiring, it was over a year, with lots of twists in between.

Difficulty was average (classic LeetCode + behavioral).

The upside is that everyone on the way was very kind.

Questions

LeetCode style + behavioral, nothing out of the ordinary.
