Software Engineering (Graduate Student) Interview Experience

Process

I submitted all documents and scheduled two back-to-back, one-hour telephonic interviews.

They asked basic algorithmic questions and requested that I code them in Google Docs. The interviewers were encouraging.

They also spoke about their projects, as I had finished the questions with 15 minutes to spare.

I passed the interviews and was considered for matching, but they were out of positions since I applied pretty late.

Questions

Recursion on Trees (I signed an NDA and that's all I can reveal) and dynamic programming.
