Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

There were two whiteboard questions. They weren't particularly difficult, but the interviewers did not know how to phrase them correctly.

It took me about 15-20 minutes to understand what they were saying because the questions were so unclear.

One interviewer was not a fluent English speaker, so it took a while to explain the question. I could also hear the second interviewer slurping and eating things on the other end of the call, which made my confidence waver because he seemed so disinterested.

I was already sick that day and extremely nervous, so being treated this way tipped me over. I cried afterward.

Questions

If Susan and her four friends went on a trip and they each had $50, but spent different amounts, how can they pay each other back? (See, it doesn't make sense).
