Pros: Documentation for everything! Big teams that are here to help you! Great for an internship! Community to help guide you through the workplace at Google (or virtual workplace, if you will). Cool confidential Googley stuff to help increase productivity. There is trust here. Maybe not from top management, but from your team, there is trust, and there is compassion and acceptance.

Cons: Be prepared to do (slightly) more than your role. Management can seem very stressful when goals aren't met or unexpected blockers arise. Small, Google discounts for employees. Slightly-decent discounts for companies that overprice their products. Most products are between 5-10% off, or "rewards" which you know you won't use.

Pros: Good work and good benefits

Cons: Layoffs and persistent fear of losing jobs. The ad market had too much hiring.
