Wonderful place, but contracts can have a shorter term than expected
Smart people, great food, very friendly and helpful to contractors. Played poker with the team, etc.
You have to work very hard to meet expectations, but it is achievable. For me, I had to put in extra unbillable hours.
Expectations were that if I performed, my contract would last 2 years.
But after 6 months, the project timeline changed, and contractors were let go with no notice.
No effort was made to find another opportunity.
Use your existing contractors who know your process and culture when a project ends. Please set expectations clearly and give notice when an opportunity ends.
