I love civil engineering. It's interesting to learn something new.
Timing is not good.
One phone interview followed by five on-site interviews. Data Structures and Algorithms questions were asked, focusing on probability, heaps, dynamic programming, and greedy algorithms. No questions were repeated. Overall, a huge amount of brainsto
There were 3 DSA rounds scheduled, with the last 15 minutes of each round being reserved for Googliness or culture fit questions. The DSA questions were easily solvable if the candidate possessed some experience in competitive programming.
Google interviewers in both rounds were chill. I was asked recursion and graph problems with follow-ups in both rounds. One follow-up required binary search. The problems revolved around depth-first search traversal and shortest path.
