Pros

Solid benefits, education reimbursement, healthcare, and a 401k match to max out.

Plenty of resources for self-study and a growth mindset.

Cons

A bad manager experience can make even the most ideal work environments feel like a battlefield. My manager changed, and the new manager overworked me to the point of severe health issues. Only when I spoke with higher management did it come to light that bad practices were being followed.

Customer-facing roles can be very intense, political, and overworked.

Advice to Management

Be proactive about getting people across all levels to speak about what’s happening.

Often, middle management can suppress voices and keep people in bad situations. Reviews should not be solely up to the manager, because they can retaliate through them for speaking up and seeking help.
