Comfortable and beautiful environment, great quality and variety of food, great benefits (health plan, assisted reproduction assistance, dental plan, internet and energy reimbursement), leisure options (video games, music room and craft room), nap room, very good people in what they do, cool challenges, dealing with a product used daily by many people.
Environment can be noisy. A lot of bureaucracy to make things happen. Very verticalized and bureaucratic hierarchy. Immense codebase that can lead to a long learning curve. Being around very intelligent people and feeling a bit stupid. Hard and very stressful work (you have to be careful with work-life balance). Meal voucher or food allowance is Sodexo/Pluxee (it could be something better accepted in the markets, like Flash or Caju).
Call in English and DSA challenge in a blank Google Sheets document. We need to identify which data structure to use to solve the problem and discuss the solution with the evaluator.
I had an interview with Google on 12/20/2024, conducted online. I solved technical challenges in Python, focusing on binary trees. I demonstrated clarity and logic, but I can improve in dynamic programming. Awaiting feedback.
The selection process included: * A preliminary interview * Three technical interviews * A culture interview * An interview with the team manager Between each stage, there were conversations with the recruiter to clarify doubts about the process.
