The recruiter contacted me for a hardware engineer position within the Maps program. Although I have done hardware development for years, I had stepped away for a bit to focus on Signal Integrity, while still working closely with the hardware group.

During my interview for a hardware engineering internship at Google India, I underwent two rounds. The first round was dedicated to evaluating my fundamental hardware knowledge, while the second round assessed my proficiency in VHDL and C++ coding.

Prepare a Google Doc with circuit designs and code. During the interview, the interviewer asked me to solve some problems with Python. He also tested me on hardware knowledge.
