Pros
  • Many career and growth opportunities.
  • Relaxed and good colleagues' vibe.
  • Great work-life balance.
  • No micromanagement or needless "scrum"/"agile" or similar things.
  • Awesome benefits, healthcare, free stuff, etc.
Cons
  • can be a bit "corpo"y and slow at times.
  • I cannot think of any issues aside from that; literally, IMO, it's a perfect IT job. Of course, some periods are busier and harder, but it's that way in every IT company. As a junior, I feel lower pressure compared to my former companies due to better coverage and more guidance.
Advice to Management

Don't forget to always stay grounded and in touch with both reality and the mainstream people and your customers. This isn't targeted at Google or anyone specific; it's general advice I think is good for anyone.
