Company seems to greatly care about employees. Most management is very sympathetic and understanding. If employed as a contractor, be wary about which agency you choose, as some will either take great care of you, or will forget you exist. But none of that is any fault of Google's.
Contractor position, so did not receive the same benefits as full-timers. Work could be a bit tedious.
Make the contracts feel just as important as the full-timers. Because they are the ones that allow full-timers to forego the gruntwork.

Software Engineer
