Worklife was great. First and foremost, no micromanagement at Google.
Planning was done very well by the PM, and ample energy was spent in doing quality work.
Teams worked from all around the globe, and that made the job interesting.
Timings were flexible.
No direct access to other teams. Feels like working in a vacuum. Quit after 4 months.
Invest more in the resources to get more quality work done.
I first filled out an online application with a resume and was later contacted with a coding challenge, which consisted of two questions and took 90 minutes. After passing the coding challenge, I moved on to phone interviews. I had two about a week
It was the onsite interview. I had four interviews: one behavioral and three technical. It was an okay interview, not too hard, but there were some weird string formatting questions. The interviewers were friendly and helpful.
Applied online and received a call to schedule the telephone interview with an engineer. The engineer was patient and nice; however, the question was somewhat difficult to grasp the whole point of and a little unclear.
