I asked a friend for an internal referral. A recruiter contacted me within two days. Since I was local and had a referral, the phone screen was waived, and I proceeded directly to the on-site interview. Google offers an interview preparation class.

I submitted my resume first. HR then called and asked some culture fit questions. This was followed by a phone screen interview with a senior project manager. I didn't make it to the next stage.

Applied online and received a call from the recruiter the very next day. She was very good. She spoke about my resume, skillset, and my willingness to relocate to San Bruno, CA. They sent a detailed list of things to be prepared for the interview.
