The people The people that work there are absolutely wonderful and really nice. Of course there are exceptions, but you will find extraordinary friends there.
The food Snacks and meals are provided and free.
Gym and other amenities
Work and company culture is a bit harsh.
Working at Google is sometimes a bit sad. The old company culture is gone; now, you're pretty much just a number in the system. You can get fired out of the blue, and nobody in HR will care. (As an apprentice, this does not apply.)
Separate tech leads and managers. Hire managers who are good managers; it's really rare for a tech genius to be a good manager as well.
Also, try to bring back the old company culture a bit. I don't know how, but that's one of the most criticized things internally.
