Google is a very competitive company.
No work-life balance in the company.
They asked questions about software engineering and how I would approach several reasonable problems. The interviewer was smart and could tell the difference between good and bad answers very effectively. I do not think this is fakeable.
One of the worst phone screen interviews I have experienced. I have interviewed with and received offers from other top Bay Area companies, and I have not encountered such a derogatory attitude.
The general Google interview process has five to six phases: * Recruiter phone interview * Technical phone interview / coding challenge * Coding project* * On-site interview * Team matching phase * Hiring committee During the recruiter
