People are helpful when you ask for work-related issues.
- No meaningful work, at least in many teams in India.
- So much randomness. No documentation and no proper code structuring. It's just a bunch of super-talented individual contributors fighting to prove their impact. No sense of teamwork.
- Too many hierarchies and slow promotions. Really hard to show impact with experimental projects happening all the time.
- Internal tech stack and hard-to-explore opportunities outside Google.
- Focus more on how we can work as a team and not as individual contributors only.
- Focus on internal documentation.
