The work culture is excellent. Being nice to others is rewarded socially and economically.
The projects are incredibly diverse and challenging. The compensation and perks are very generous.
As the person leading the orientation told me on my first day: "We want you to be happy. If you're happy, you're more productive."
I'm happy indeed :)
Work-life balance can be difficult, not necessarily due to management asking you to work off-hours, but because sometimes it's hard to disconnect.
Reduce bureaucracy and management layers. Work harder to find teams across product areas that ought to be working together for the sake of the user.
