Despite the recent turbulence, Google has been a great place to work throughout, as they really take care of their people and have so many benefits to take advantage of.
You get to work with some of the brightest minds out there and learn as a result.
Sometimes the bureaucracy gets in the way of progress, though I do think this is slowly starting to improve with time.
Be transparent with your people and bet on real innovation, not fads or trends that seem to flow with the market.
