The culture and compensation are excellent, but bureaucracy and poor leadership give me pause
Work culture is excellent. Perks, benefits, and compensation are top-notch.
The tech island is real, and development often feels slow and hindered by bureaucracy. I also feel that Google is anti-competition and anti-regulation, and I don't always feel good about that. I hope the Alphabet Workers Union (AWU) will push the needle.
