- Encourages diversity.
Not every project is created equal; you need some luck to like your daily work.
Big tech debt (yes, even at Google).
People are smart enough to always move to projects where they can get promoted quickly, so that means there are also teams that are not popular.
Promote the core, detailed works, not fancy ideas and one-shot launches.
