Pros
  • An opportunity to work at one of the best companies in the world.
  • Ability to switch teams easily during the rotational period to get experience on different teams and projects.
  • Free access to amazing materials to help you grow as an engineer.
  • 8 weeks of training on good engineering practices and mentorship throughout the program.
Cons
  • Some managers in the program may be new, inexperienced, or not technical. You will have to actively seek out technical career mentorship and wisdom on choosing teams/projects.

  • Working as a Level 2 engineer (Level 3 is entry level) when in reality all the code you are writing is at Level 3 and is being reviewed by Level 3 engineers and above.

  • Lower pay than new grad salary, but this will bump up after the program and you are brought on full time.
