Food, salary, good work-life balance.
Pressure. Consistency. Hard work. Sleepless nights.
I got the interview through a referral. They contacted me to arrange a time for the interview, and then called me through Google Hangouts. It was a typical technical coding interview, which lasted for about 45 minutes.
I got rejected because I couldn't reverse a single linked list, which made me disappointed. But I can't complain because Google has a high hiring bar, and I just didn't meet it, sadly.
It's usually two phone screens, and then an on-site interview. The on-site interview is one day long and consists of six interviews with a lunch break. Nothing is really extraordinary about it. The interviewers are pretty relaxed but well-organized.
