The first round involved an online coding assessment via Google Drive. I was writing code while the interviewer watched the document. The question was not difficult, but the time was very limited.

The recruiter contacted me and did a great job of providing me with all the prep materials and what to expect. They even set up a call with a Google Software Engineer to give me a sense of what work is like at Google from someone who works there. I

It was very informal, but at the same time comfortable. I was asked basic questions about Python and C++. Overall, it wasn't difficult, but I felt like they wanted someone with more experience.
