Pros
  • Free food.
  • Free cab.
  • Peer bonus.
  • Good oncall bonus.
  • Good health insurance.
Cons
  • No work-life balance.
  • No personal time, especially for India folks, as you need to connect with US folks most of the time.
  • High learning curve due to Google internal tools.
  • High pressure, especially in the cloud division, due to rapidly changing AI.
  • Low growth. Transitioning from L4 to L5 or L5 to L6 is very, very difficult.
Advice to Management
  • Please consider humans as humans, not as AI robots. Humans have a family and personal life.
  • Requirements are changing on a weekly basis, which says a lot due to AI stuff.
