Pros

The compensation packages for employees in the San Francisco Bay Area continue to be excellent.

Cons

The current senior leadership appears to believe that, within a given job ladder, employees are interchangeable cogs.

The lack of perceived (and actual) job security is an ongoing problem. Layoffs began in January 2023 and have continued through at least April 2024. Employees ask each other, "Are we going to be laid off?"

In the weeks after a team has been impacted by layoffs, the remaining employees receive no useful guidance about next steps. They must often wait a month or more to receive clarity about what they are expected to work on.
