For those living outside of Germany, Google offers a relocation bonus that helped the move a lot. They also connect you with a company that assists in the relocation.
Munich isn't wildly expensive.
Munich is a bit of a pain in the butt to live in, due to it being very much a seller's market for landlords.
No advice to offer; they're already doing well.
