Coding Interview Round: Panellists only smile, chit-chat, and paste ready-made questions to you. They are not involved in discussion, basically just giving you the problem and waiting patiently for you to solve it, even when you try to build a conversation.

System Design Round: Panellists know little about system design, somehow rejecting the belief that the solution can be simple by utilizing row lock mechanisms and the serialization behavior of PostgreSQL.

No feedback was given, except that you are not good enough. This is a vastly different experience compared to interviews with Silicon Valley engineers.

Then again, the recruiter must follow what the interviewer says. There is no verification of their verdict nor repercussion. They are trying to save themselves.
