The interview process had 5 rounds. All were technical, containing questions mostly from Data Structures and Algorithms (one should have a very good understanding of this) and a few general questions from OS and DBMS.

1st round: This was basically a qualifier round containing 3 coding questions (from arrays, trees, and strings). Out of almost 200 students, 30 got selected for the second round.

2nd and 3rd rounds were face-to-face interviews where they gave coding questions, and you had to come up with optimized answers. You had to show the dry run of the code as well as write the code on paper.

The interviewers were very helpful and fun-loving people. If you were stuck somewhere, they would help you find the answer.

Each of the rounds lasted almost half an hour, where they asked 3-4 questions in each.

4th round was the Hiring Manager (HM) round. This was basically a Skype round or face-to-face. They asked us about our projects and related questions. We were given a situation and had to come up with a solution, e.g., develop a Google Home, etc. Some HMs also asked questions from CN.

5th round (HR): This is the same as other HR rounds. They asked me about myself, my family, and also told us about the Grab culture.

After all these rounds, 5 students were selected, and luckily, I was one of them.
