After numerous back-and-forth emails with the recruiter to schedule a phone interview with Groupon, I finally secured a time slot. I was the one who initiated the request for an interview.
Following the scheduling, the interviewer (the coding interviewer) called, and I thoroughly enjoyed my phone interview with him. I truly appreciate him for such a pleasant experience.
However, after we concluded the interview, the recruiter completely stopped contacting me. I sent her a couple of emails inquiring about the interview results and whether I had passed, but she never responded. It felt as though I had been dropped entirely.
I even resorted to politely pleading for a rejection message, just so I would know if I had any chance with Groupon, but received nothing. This behavior is unbelievably unprofessional.
I am genuinely disappointed with Groupon. I will never consider them again and will advise my friends to do the same.
