The interview process involved either three or four rounds, depending on how one classifies each interaction, as one session was quite brief and evolved into a general life discussion. My first interview question centered on presenting my optimal solution to a variant of the least common ancestor problem. My next interviewer inquired about my experience, and we subsequently discussed database join algorithms. I don't recall the remainder of the process, but overall, it was an amazing experience. I remember leaving with the impression that all the questions posed were very challenging and interesting, and that all my interviewers were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and considerate. Groupon is clearly invested in their interns and employees.
