Process
The phone interview was conducted by someone who was clearly distracted, as I could hear sounds of texting and emailing. The background noise was very loud, and the entire process was disappointing. The coding question was complicated, and due to the interrupting noise, I couldn't even focus. The whole process was very upsetting.

Pros: The working environment is really good, and you have the opportunity to learn a lot of things about how a massive e-commerce platform is architected and managed.
Opportunities for travelling in the US and training.
There are also some great, very smart people.
Cons: Everything depends on the team and the projects, but sometimes there isn't a clear plan and guidance on what the team's plan is.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere.
Intelligent, dedicated, and friendly people to work with.
The Dublin office is lovely, with a great location. There's a nice outdoor area where you can work in warm weather, a games room, a canteen, etc.
For such a large company, there's a surprising amount of impact your daily job can have; i.e., you don't feel like a cog in the wheel.
Good perks, such as free lunch on Wednesdays and free food and drink each day. Activities are organized on a regular basis.
Cons: Long work hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Sometimes, when working with teams across the globe, they don't respect the time difference or your work hours, and they set up meetings outside of your work hours.
