The first round was a 30-minute phone interview with general questions about my past work experience, why I wanted to work at Groupon, and what type of work I was interested in. They also gave me an opportunity to ask questions about the company and position at the end of the interview. After learning about my skill set and preferences, they discussed possible teams and locations where they thought I would fit best, and told me they would contact me soon to schedule a second interview.
The second round was another 30-minute phone interview. They asked almost the exact same questions as the first, with a couple of new ones added, such as my biggest challenge and how I solved it. I was surprised they didn't ask a single technical/programming/problem-solving question. I inquired about salary during this interview and was told I would receive the details soon after, which I never did.
Overall, it felt like the other side didn't have nearly as much interest in the interview as I did. I essentially had two HR interviews, and I wasn't asked any behavioral or technical questions. They were respectful throughout, but it was as if they had already decided on who to hire before the interviews began.
