Process
HR screens first. The hiring manager will also conduct a phone screen. If all goes well, this should lead to an onsite interview with 3-4 or more people.
Grubhub has two main locations: NYC and Chicago. Some of your interviewers may be in the "other" location, depending on whether you interview in NYC or Chicago. However, there will be at least one onsite person to have a face-to-face interview with.
Questions
There will be a mix of technical and behavioral types of questions. You may also be prepared to talk through a high-level design on the spot, given a hypothetical problem.
Demonstrate your capacity to work with difficult people and/or situations.
