Process

  1. Applied online.
  2. An HR person connected with me through WhatsApp. They asked for a basic introduction, questions from my resume, and about my previous company. They also inquired about Guidewire itself.
  3. Technical interview: A member from Guidewire connected with me through Google Meet and asked JavaScript questions. The interviewer was very calm, didn't make me panic or stress, and even provided hints and explained solutions.
  4. In-person interview: First, the HR from Guidewire emailed me asking me to pick a date for the onsite interview and stated that a confirmation email would be sent later. When I emailed them with my preferred date, I didn't receive a confirmation email. When I followed up with another email, the HR said they were finalizing with another candidate.

They could have said that in the beginning. They gave me hope and then rejected me.
