Senior Automation Test Engineer Interview Experience - New York, New York

June 30, 2021
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process began with a basic screening, followed by an onsite interview with the Hiring Manager and Reporting Manager. Next was a cultural round with a manager from a different department, and then a Director round. This was followed by a joint round with the Reporting Manager and Director.

Throughout this process, I initiated multiple follow-ups, but received very little information from the recruiter. Several interviews were rescheduled due to panel unavailability, leading to delays.

After approximately six video interview rounds and nearly three months, I received feedback that was positive but indicated I was not selected. I felt disappointed and confused. I believe transparency was lacking, which led to my expectations being raised.

As potential employees, we would appreciate more transparency and greater respect for our time. Please avoid subjecting others to such an ordeal.
