Pros

Most people are friendly and open to advice and/or gentle criticism. The PMO organization does seem to have it together on where to go with the platform.

Cons

The company used to value customer success, employee satisfaction, and other core values. Under the new management, the company values profit over everything. People who are or should be considered experts are often not consulted about work priorities or even thoughts on development direction when that is their key job.

Mid-level management has taken a view of 'do what you are told and do not ask questions.' Essentially, every division is promoting what amounts to the age-old "yes" person instead of someone who might raise credible objections. Again, this is especially clear at middle management, especially in development and professional services, though it is sometimes clear that profit before success is prevalent at higher levels and even stated as such.

Advice to Management

Bring back the belief in core values and employees. Remember, our customers are why we are where we are today. Without them, we would not be successful.
