Commitment to a sustainable pace. Very smart people. A collaborative and collegial environment. The pattern of work is steady but manageable here. I've never experienced end-of-release "firedrills" and insane hours (unlike many other companies where I've worked).
Depending on the team you're on, you may not be exposed to bleeding-edge technologies, languages, or frameworks.
Java is used extensively, but on many of the application teams, you won't be exposed to frameworks such as AngularJS, etc.
Continue the commitment to a sustainable pace. It's one of the core attributes of Guidewire that sets our company apart and contributes to low attrition rates and high levels of job satisfaction.
