Despite Gusto claiming collaboration as a value, the interviews were far from collaborative.
Of the four tech interviews I did, only the very first technical screen was collaborative. The interview questions were "LeetCode" problems hidden behind the guise of "real work". The "pair programming interview" was far from pair programming.
They also stated that you are allowed to look things up in the pre-interview guides, but the interviewers did not allow that to happen.
