I applied via an online application. Weeks later I received an email from the recruiter with the title "Next steps" that mentioned "we had a great time chatting with you" and were attempting to set up next steps. I've never communicated directly with anyone from the company, let alone a recruiter, prior to this. Additionally, the email had a suspicious link which appears to belong to Modern Loop, an AI recruiting tool I'm assuming they're using, which explains the first email. I did get a phone screen with the recruiter. There were standard questions about background. I received no follow-up, feedback, or rejection email after the call. Overall, it was a poor experience.
