The screen with HR went well, and then the initial tech screen was scheduled.
Unfortunately, it appears that Gusto is closed to new candidates. They are using gatekeeping interview questions, and they only had one question. (FAANG has two, startups have one, or other forms of LeetCode questioning). The interviewer was as puzzled as I was by the question, since it involved DateTimes.
