iOS Software Developer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

First interview was a standard HR talk, with questions about my experience, skills, etc. Then some information about their company, as usual.

The second interview was with their Lead iOS Developer. I was asked to do an online coding test on some website. Of course, I didn't remember all the syntax by heart, but I think I got the idea and came to a logic on how to solve it, then solved it. Nevertheless, I got a refusal afterwards.

When I asked why, I got an answer that they didn't like my coding skills because they need me "to write code correctly, efficiently and quickly." I know that I didn't solve it just like that in a matter of seconds, but I got the logic right and I solved it. Maybe it wasn't an ideal solution, but still, considering it's an interview and I didn't Google stuff and didn't have time to think about it a lot.

Anyway, it is what it is. I'll leave it as is.
