The interviewer does not know how to conduct an interview, nor how to evaluate a candidate. When asked, "What classes would you need for an app displaying listings?" he actually expected a description of UIViewController, UITableView, and UITableViewCell on CoderPad.
My general impression is that they have the wrong person working there.
Yet, I received a standard rejection email saying my iOS background is not the strongest match for the role. I agree.
