Initially, I reached out after finding Handshake at a job fair. I had a call with the recruiter, then an hour-long technical phone interview.

From there, they assigned an exercise and let me choose any stack to complete it with. I was responsible for getting the app up and running prior to the interview. The technical on-site interview consisted of adding functionality to the existing app and pairing with engineers to expand on the functionality and debug. The on-site also had a few short behavioral interviews.
