Asked to automate the deployment of a HA Consul and Vault cluster in AWS using Terraform. After spending a week of time and incurring $65 in AWS fees, I delivered my solution (including auto-unsealing Vault using AWS IAM roles to secure keys – above and beyond requirements). I was told the position was put on hold.
Never even given any feedback on my solution or presentation.
